About us
Who we are
We are a group of Christians from across the Lizard Peninsula who believe that Jesus is the way the truth and the life. We seek to worship God in spirit and truth, to read His word, renew our hearts and minds and be transformed from the inside out.
Our emphasis is on bringing glory to God by making disciples through expository preaching, intentional community and gathering together regularly. What we believe inspires our worship and at the heart of what we do.
What we believe
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is fully divine and fully human, who died on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for our sins, was resurrected bodily, and is the only way to salvation by grace alone through faith.
The Bible as the inspired Word of God
The Bible is the authoritative source of truth and the foundation for our faith.
The Trinity
God exists as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Salvation by grace through faith
Salvation is a free gift from God received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works.
The sovereignty of God
God is in control of all things and works all things according to His purpose.
The person of Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was resurrected, and ascended to heaven.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit regenerates believers, indwells them, and empowers them to live a Christian life.
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ, consisting of all believers united in Him.
